The HWCM 3rd Race Day was conducted on 9th October successfully. We had a good turnout and 23 members participated in the race, more than previous race days. We extend our thanks to Mattel Malaysia for their sponsorship of the wonderful prizes and McDonald's drive-thru SS15 Subang Jaya for letting us hold the event there.

Theme : 2008-2009 Color Shifters
Mechanism : Three Sessions of KNOCK-OUT style Tournament with the winner of each race moving on to the next round.
Participants will be allowed to change cars between races. So each participant is allowed a maximum of 3 cars. You may also choose to enter 1 same car for every single race.
Prizes will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for each session.

Hot Wheels introduced something new to us lately, Colour Shifter, car changes in colour when you dip in water.
I would say this need some technology in order to make it works, it "shift" colour in react to changes in climate.

Colour changed to bright blue colour, although it looked unreal.
Colour slowly change back to white when the body heated. Isn't it Interesting?
Colour Shifters are selling at RM16.90 at most retail stores, there are many models available, but many collectors are looking for the Evo X.
It actually in plastic body and metal base, it is same size with the rest of the Hot Wheels basic cars. ☺YeoCP//
